Busheling

Clean steel scrap, maximum size 2 feet by 5 feet, including new factory busheling (for example, sheet clippings, stampings, etc.). May not include old auto body and fender stock. Free of metal coated, limed, vitreous enameled, and electrical sheet containing over 0.5 percent silicon.(ISRI Code-207)

Shredded Steel

Homogeneous iron and steel scrap, magnetically separated, originating from automobiles, unprepared No. 1 and No. 2 steel, miscellaneous baling and sheet scrap, varying in size pertaining to different ISRI codes(210-211).

Heavy Melting Scrap (HMS)

Wrought iron and steel scrap, black and galvanized, with varying sizes pertaining to different ISRI codes(200-206). May include automobile scrap, properly prepared;

Light Melting Scrap (LMS)

Wrought iron and steel scrap, black and galvanized, with varying sizes pertaining to different ISRI codes(200-206). May include automobile scrap, properly prepared;

Plates & Structural (P&S)

Cut structural and plate scrap, 5 feet and under. Clean open hearth steel plates, structural shapes, crop ends, shearings, or broken steel tires. Dimensions may vary pertaining to ISRI Codes 231-232. Phosphorus or sulphur not over 0.05 percent.

Cast Iron Scrap

May include all grades of Iron Cast

MS Turnings & Borings

Clean steel or wrought iron turnings, free of iron borings, nonferrous metals in a free state, scale, or excessive oil.(ISRI Codes:219-220)

Blue Steel

This grade conforms to ISRI 229/230/231/232/234 and includes cut pieces generated from fabrication units; cut pieces of new D-Bars from cut & bend units and cut pieces of other items like Billets, Bloom, structural steel, plates, stampings, forgings, etc. It arises only from steel industries and/or fabricators or construction sites. All these material should be un-used and must be in the colour of freshly produced steel. Some quantity with light atmospheric surface rust is permissible. Acceptable size of this material is 1.5 mtr X 1.0 mtr, thickness will be minimum of 6mm and above. In international parlance, this is also known as “NEW PRODUCTION SCRAP” OR “BONUS GRADE SCRAP”.
